Nintendo WILL give you a free fix. I called them today. They said yes. I didn't tell them I opened up my wii and tried fixing it. I'm going to send it either way. lol


You have to send the game with the console or you wont get a repair. Ima have to borrow bo back for a few days.

It's pretty simple. Just tell them bo broke your drive. They'll send you an email with a shipping label that you have to print. You box your wii up and stick that label on the box. Send it through fed ex or whatever...and you get it back in a week or so. They also have some walk in repair places. But the nearest one from me was pretty far away. Hope you live near one so you can get your wii fixed faster

Yeah I just called and got everything set-up but mine went down a bit differently. Apparently I haven't been getting the same errors that all other black ops games have been giving. I was getting disc errors not drive errors. The thing is, is that NONE of my games are being read. I either get disc errors for all of them in the channel menu or they will start up last a few moments and then give me a disc error. I was a bit worried I wouldn't get a free fix seeing that he had to talk to his supervisor about it. Luckily though I'm getting a free fix. He thinks it has something to do with the lens or something. He then told me about the whole shipping label and all that other shit. So yeah, my wii didn't die because of black ops but because of something else. Prolly of old age. Luckily it died while I playing black ops so I still get covered for the free fix :3
